Attics,walls, ceiling:
___ Check the roof for leaks.
___ Inspect the chimney for dampness.
___ Clean out to improve appearance.
___ Repair all cracks, holes or damage to the plaster or wallboards.
Windows, Doors ,and Floors:
___ Check for operation.
___ Inspect for broken glass.
___ Replace all loose or missing glazing.
___ Check for peeling paint.
___ Door bell and chimes should be working.
___ Wash windows and woodwork if necessary.
___ Inspect for loose or broken tile or flooring and replace.
___ Test handrails to make sure they are sturdy and safe.
Bathrooms:
___ Check tile joints, grouting and caulk.
___ Clean mildew from all surfaces.
___ Repair dripping shower heads and faucets.
___ New shower curtains.
___ fresh, clean toweling.
___ Test operation of toilet.
___ Test all drains.
Kitchen:
___ Wash all appliances.
___ Remove all dirt and dust from tile and floors.
Basement:
___ Remove all cluter and debris.
___ Check for signs and dampness and/or cracks.
___ Check pipes for leaks.
___ Paint basement walls, if necessary.
Electrical System:
___ Repair broken switches and outlets.
___ Label all circuits and fuses.
___ Check exposed wiring and outlets for signs of damage.
Heating and Cooling:
___ Have equipment serviced, if necessary.
___ Clear & clean out around equipment.
___ Change or clean furnace filters
Outside
Roof and Gutters:
___ Replace all loose or missing shingles.
___ Clean gutters and check for leaks.
___ Inspect the flashing on the entire roof.
___ Inspect chimney for loose or missing mortar.
Exterior Walls:
___ Repair loose siding and repair decaying boards.
___ Check masonry walls for cracks or missing mortar and refill
___ replace all missing and/or loose caulking.
Driveway:
___ Repair all concrete or blacktop.
Garage:
___ Inspect doors or gutters for loose or peeling paint.
___ Check condition of glazing around windows.
___ Test all electrical outlets.
Yard:
___ Mow the lawn, reseed or sod if necessary.
___ Trim hedges, prune shrubs and trees.
